Candice Coleman

Candice is the Volunteer Coordinator for the non-profit DoveLewis Animal Hospital, where she works with over 200 volunteers on multiple outreach projects. Her past positions have focused on large scale project management including Director of Events for the 2005 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, and Tour Manager for the Sesame Street Live! International Tour. Candice was the project director for America's History in the Making, a 22-part educational multi-media series funded through the Teaching American History initiative of the US Department of Education.

John Davis

John has over 30 years experience working in leadership positions with the US Department of Defense Dependent Schools.  His positions took him all over the world and included District Superintendent for UK/Iceland District, and Area Superintendent for all of Europe. John has served on several key committees for education, has developed and delivered professional development for teachers, and has a proven track record of improving student achievement in under-performing schools.  He holds a Doctorate in Education focused on school leadership and staff morale.

 

Marion Rice

Marion Rice has been creating award-winning nationally distributed educational multimedia for more than 15 years, and holds a doctorate in education focusing on interactive media for learning. Some of her online projects for PBS include The PBS Parents Guide to Raising Boys, History Detectives, Children’s Hospital, and Life 360. Working with the American Film Institute, Dr. Rice was the Executive Producer of the History Detectives Road Trip, a video-based experience via mobile phones. She is the past Manager of Teacher Education at the Oregon Museum of Science and a former classroom science teacher. She recently worked with One Economy in the development of a national digital information initiative combating childhood obesity for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
